Although both options restrict access to your account, they differ in purpose and effect.
Account Closure
Occurs due to Self-Exclusion or Take-a-Break settings (via My Account → Profile → Player Protection).
Access to services is temporarily blocked for the selected duration.
Important Notes:
Designed to support responsible gaming.
You can increase the limit duration at any time.
Reducing or removing the restriction is not immediate and depends on the responsible gaming policy.
Account & Data Deletion
Account deletion is a permanent action, performed only at your request:
Your account will be permanently closed
You will not be able to log in again or open a new account
Your personal data will be erased following our data retention policy
To request account deletion, follow this path: Privacy Notice → § 5.2 → Right to erasure → Account Deletion → Submit request.
If you do not have access to the account, send an email request to the responsible department via dpo-office@betano.bg, using your registered email and including your username.
